Chiropractic and Stress
Chiropractic adjustments can help bring your body back into balance, eliminating or reducing muscle stress, maintaining muscle and structural tone thus preventing further disease.
It is a known fact that good stresses promote wellness and negative stresses produce disease and illness.
Humans have the potential to tap into our innate potential that resides in each of us to prevent disease and promote health.
Stress can work for you. It can make you more productive rather than self-destructive. It is how you harness your stress. Everyone is different and each person reacts differently to stress. Some hold stress in their upper back or low back, some people experience digestive problems, and others have headaches.
However, stress is the "wear and tear" our bodies experience as we adjust to our continually changing environment. Stress has physical and emotional effects on us and can create positive or negative feelings. As a positive influence, stress can add anticipation and excitement to life. As a negative influence, it can result in feelings of distrust, rejection, anger, and depression, which in turn can lead to health problems. Negative stress creates muscle imbalance, inflammation, pain, weakness, digestive problems, and other serious health problems.
